Remember – the Government Offices take holidays too!

The government office in Australia that handles Intellectual Property registrations and related takes Christmas holidays like most organisations. The office will be shut from Saturday, 24 December 2011 up to and including Monday, 2 January 2012.  If you have trademark requirements falling due between these dates, the Office will allowing filing on the first business day after the closure. However, as this is a busy time of year for everyone, we encourage your submissions and/or enquiries to be handled before the closures to ensure that there are no missed deadlines after Christmas!
